Medicated Feed Additives

Huvepharma are a major feed additive manufacturer; with the largest monensin and salinomycin production in Europe and a global market leader in tylosin production. Huvepharma’s manufacturing division Biovet have been a primary manufacturer of medicated feed additives and enzymes for decades, originally supplying active ingredients and contract packed products for export. Huvepharma owns three manufacturing plants in Bulgaria, another in the USA, and have their Sales & Marketing headquartered in Belgium.

Huvepharma became a true marketer of branded feed additives with the more recent acquisition of Intervet, Hoescht and Merial feed additive brands.

MONOTEC 100 microGranulate – the new monensin

Description

microGranulate premix containing 10% monensin

Indications

Dairy Cattle:

  • For increased milk protein production
  • As an aid in the control of ketosis
  • As an aid in prevention and control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii
  • As an aid in the reduction of bloat

Beef Cattle:

  • For improved feed efficiency and/or rate of weight gain
  • As an aid in prevention and control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii
  • As an aid in the reduction of bloat

Beef Cows:

  •  For improved feed efficiency as indicated by improvement in the relationship of feed to cow weight, calf weight and reproductive performance

Replacement Heifers:

  • For increased rate of weight gain and to promote earlier onset of first oestrous
  • As an aid in prevention and control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii

Sheep:

  •  As an aid in the control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria ninakohlyakimovae, E.ahsata, E.faurei, E.parva, E.intricata and E.pallida

Goats:

  •  As an aid in the control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria arloingi

Broiler Chickens and Layer Replacement Chickens:

Description

Granular premix containing 25% tylosin (as tylosin phosphate)

Indications

Broiler chickens & replacement chickens:

  • As an aid in the control of chronic respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and/or Mycoplasma synoviae.
  • For the treatment and prevention of necrotic enteritis associated with susceptible strains of Clostridium perfringens.

Pigs:

  • For the Treatment of ileitis
